Overview
Mozilla was the only browser that matched Internet Explorer in features at the time, and that I adopted as a work tool since version 1.1, for two very simple reasons:
- Tabbed browsing – the quintessential way to do real web surfing and the only practical way to do web development.
- It works on all the platforms I work in (Windows, Mac, Linux) in exactly the same way.
I later moved on to Firefox and Thunderbird as my standard non-Mac browser and mailer, but Mozilla was still handy sometimes due to its News and IRC clients.
