Spaces

Spaces is ’s virtual desktop feature, virtually undistinguishable from pretty much any other kind of virtual desktop solution except for the smoothness and polish.

Notes

  • Shift-dragging an application window to a Space moves all that applications’ windows there.
  • You can switch off the animation by doing:
    defaults write com.apple.dock workspaces-swoosh-animation-off -bool YES

…and restarting the Dock.
