After some consideration and a little (short, but fascinating) investigation, I’ve come to the conclusion that two of the Xmas gifts I originally had on my Wishlist (this globe and this USB microscope) were in fact paid for by readers and shipped from Amazon but never arrived because they were diverted somewhere along the way - something I’m told has been happening here and there on shipments to Portugal.
I’ve reinstated them on the wish list (and, incidentally, there seems to be a bug with that, since re-adding them apparently removes them from the “purchased” list), but if you were the kind soul(s) who tried to get them to us in the first place, you might want to check the order status at your end and report this to Amazon.
