The link to this Time article is making the rounds today - apparently Nokia will unveil a prototype at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, even though the device won't actually be available until Q3 or so. And guess what, it has Wi-Fi (and, hopefully, a decent keyboard).
We'll see tomorrow.
Wireless USB
Apparently Intel is not happy with not being able to control the wireless marketplace in any way, and is pushing WUSB: 1, 2. As if we needed more (and incompatible) technologies to make our lives easier...
I guess I'll have to type up a short overview of the half-dozen emerging wireless technologies, if only for my own guidance.
Leisure Links
- Flying Pig has a great mechanisms section that is great fun to browse through (and might be useful for people with kids).
- The CSS Zen Garden is always a nice place to re-visit.
- del.icio.us/tag - plenty of fashionable links for the idle surfer.
- memepool - the old classic.
