Homebrew ➹

Homebrew is a package management framework for OSX similar to MacPorts and Fink, but rather simpler (and which installs stuff using Ruby “formulae” under /usr/local – I’d personally rather have them put their stuff under /usr/local/share and then symlinking it to /usr/local/bin, so I won’t touch it until they come to their senses).
