UIQ

UIQ was a user interface platform for the Symbian OS, with pen and large(ish) screen support from the outset.

It didn't, however, take off. Besides a poorly designed interaction model, it lacked any relevant upgrades since 2003 and was unable to get traction on the market, which led to its rather predictable demise in 2008.
