Quite honestly, I’m surprised they lasted this long. Paper magazines haven’t been able to keep up with technology coverage for a good while. Then again, they’re still better than the mess of cross-posting blog nests we have these days.
(Old-timers are free to rant on about the “good old days” when BYTE was the epitome of computing magazines, and hug their copies of Dr Dobb’s Journal while stifling a sob.)
