Windows Odds and Ends

Just came across Windows PE Builder, which allows you to build a CD-based Windows environment. Seems to require a fair bit of tweaking, but looks great for things like kiosks, testing, etc.

rage sent me a link to SpeedswitchXP, which finally allows you to bypass 's "automatic" CPU frequency control (which can cause no end of trouble to some laptops).

A brand new article with pictures of the main contenders' equipments, plus the usual constantly-rising-graphs of WLAN adoption, cards sold, etc.
